Recent Advances in Information Technology

Information technology has been one of the most encouraging research areas throughout the globe over the past two decades. From commerce and government to scientific discovery, healthcare, education, entertainment, and environmental management, information technology is indispensable and will continue to fuel further advances in all facets of human endeavors.
In this special issue, we concentrate mainly on intelligent computing techniques as well as the emerging applications of information technology. Its aim is to unify the picture of contemporary intelligent computing techniques as an integral concept that highlights the trends in advanced computational intelligence and bridges theoretical research with applications.
We are soliciting papers that present recent results, as well as more speculative presentations that discuss research challenges, define new applications, and propose methodologies for evaluating and the roadmap for achieving the vision of artificial intelligence, pattern recognition, evolutionary computing, information retrieval, computational neuroscience and bioscience, soft computing, human-computer interface issues, and so forth. WhatsApp's latest update lets you play YouTube videos directly inside the app, in picture-in-picture mode. WhatsApp for iOS is getting a new update that brings two important features, notably, a picture-in-picture mode for watching YouTube videos, and a better way of recording voice messages. The information was first shared by WABetaInfo on Twitter. Perhaps the biggest change is that YouTube videos will play directly inside the app, in picture -in-picture mode. Now when you receive a YouTube link and click on it, the video will open within the app itself. Earlier the video would open in the YouTube app or browser. Mexico was struck by a powerful earthquake on Tuesday that killed at least 149 people and toppled several buildings in the capital.The death toll climbed throughout the night as rescue workers continued digging through rubble, with 21 children at a collapsed primary school among those killed. The 7.1 magnitude earthquake came on the anniversary of a devastating 1985 temblor that caused major damage to Mexico City, and struck as many people took part in an earthquake drill It also came less than two weeks after another major quake killed 90 people in the country's south.
